Michael is a second-year Bachelor of Commerce student concentrating in Marketing. After his involvement as a Frosh facilitator and with Carleton University Students’ Association, he is very excited to be your VP Student Life for the 2020-2021 school year! He looks forward to making the Sprott Business Student Society’s events bigger and better than ever before. You can usually find Michael in Ollie’s working away at his assignments - stop by and say hi!

Samantha Gec

VP External Relations

Samantha Gec is a fourth-year Bachelor of Commerce student specializing in International Business with a Minor in Spanish. She has spent two years on the SBSS as a Formals Committee Member and is very excited to now contribute as VP External. She plans on overseeing Sprott’s large scale events and ensuring they are the best that they can be. She also intends on creating new and maintaining current external relationships for the SBSS in order to increase networking and recruitment opportunities for all Sprott students. Samantha is extremely excited to work with the new faces of the SBSS and make this 2020-2021 year the best one for the SBSS yet!

Alexa Camick

VP Internal Relations

Alexa Camick is a first year International Business student and the incoming VP Internal Relations. She is looking forward to developing relationships and enhancing the university experience not only for SBSS council members, but for all Sprott students across campus. Her main goal is to further promote the concept of #SprottLove, which to her, is defined by community. Some fun facts about Alexa is that she enjoys playing sports, loves to travel and is working towards becoming trilingual!

Jon is a second year student in the Bachelor of International Business, dual minoring in Mandarin and Spanish and concentrating in international marketing and trade. After being the VP Marketing for the Sprott International Business Students’ Association this past year, he is excited to take the position of VP Marketing for SBSS. This year, he hopes to develop engagement with Sprott students by creating more interactive content on various social media platforms, in addition to reaching out to the Sprott concentration clubs to help them promote their events and projects. When he is not in the library, Jon can be found in Ollies with his friends.

Aaron Agyemang

Aaron is currently finishing his second year of the Bachelor of Commerce program with concentrations in Finance and Information Systems. He has been heavily engaged in the Carleton community since his first year, taking part in Carleton University Students' Association, Sprott Finance Students' Association and more. He is extremely honoured and delighted to be serving as VP Finance in this upcoming academic year! A fun fact about Aaron is that he can recite the Greek alphabet backwards.
