The Sprott Business Student’s Society presents Ryan Smolkin LIVE at Carleton University, an animated and engaging on-stage presentation on November 19, 2019. Open to all students in the spirit of Global Entrepreneurship Week, Smolkin will walk attendees and aspiring entrepreneurs through what it takes to build a global brand, the journey into franchising, entrepreneurship, challenges faced and much more.
"I’m excited to inspire young, ambitious students with aspirations to own their own businesses. My main goal is to pave the way for students who are in the same position I was when I was finding my way in university,” said Smolkin remembering the challenges faced when starting out as a serial entrepreneur. “I am totally stoked to be the first in this industry to support students in their journey toward entrepreneurship – I really want to give them opportunities I didn’t have and bring my experience, insight, and entrepreneurial spirit to those who want to take a ride on the Smoke’s Poutinerie Rock ‘n’ Roll Gravy Train. FIRE IT UP!"
Ryan Smolkin LIVE at Carleton University is part of the Smoke’s Poutinerie EDU-TAINMENT Program speaking series launched at Wilfred Laurier University in the fall of 2018 and will be travelling across the country in the winter of 2019 and into 2020. Smolkin is bringing with him a unique opportunity; post-secondary students who attend the session can enter for an exclusive chance to jump aboard the Smoke’s Poutinerie Gravy Train for a 100% discount off all franchise related fees.*
